Reasonable Suspicion Supervisor Training
Supervisors play a critical role in maintaining a safe, productive, and drug-free workplace. This course provides practical guidance on recognizing signs of possible impairment, documenting objective observations, and responding appropriately when reasonable suspicion exists.
Employees who are impaired by drugs or alcohol may present an increased risk of workplace incidents, injuries, property damage, and reduced productivity. Knowing how to recognize and address these situations consistently and professionally helps protect employees while supporting compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Participants will learn how to distinguish observable behaviors from assumptions, properly document their observations, understand the steps involved in the reasonable suspicion process, and determine when a referral for testing may be appropriate under organizational policy.
