Hearing loss may not be at the top of your list of workplace health hazards, but for so many occupations it is an ever-present danger with long-term and potentially career-ending effects. With hearing, you may not think about the result hearing loss will have on your life and career until you’ve suffered impairment – so listen up!
In this training, you will:
- learn to identify the types of noise exposure
- recognize hazardous noise sources that may be present in your workplace
- identify common signs of hearing loss
- take a deep dive into the responsibilities of both employers and employees for hearing conservation
and - will explore methods of hearing protection.
