Portable fire extinguishers are an important first line of defense against small, contained fires—but only when employees understand how to use them correctly and safely. Improper use or selecting the wrong extinguisher can increase risks and worsen an emergency situation.
This training introduces the fundamentals of fire extinguisher safety and provides practical guidance for recognizing fire hazards, selecting the appropriate extinguisher, and responding effectively during a fire emergency.
