Hybrid Battery Safety Training

In this course, participants will learn how to safely handle, remove, and recycle hybrid and electric vehicle (EV) batteries used in equipment and vehicles. The training focuses on identifying high-voltage components, recognizing electrical and chemical hazards, and implementing proper de-energization and isolation procedures before removal.

We’ll discuss safe storage, transport, and emergency response steps for damaged or leaking batteries, as well as fire prevention and environmental precautions. This course helps workers understand OSHA, requirements while ensuring a safer and more compliant recycling operation
